Valentin Churavy joins Saarland University

Valentin Churavy has been working in our group as a research software engineer and postdoctoral researcher funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG). Now, Valentin is joining Saarland University (Universität des Saarlandes) to build up a new interdisciplinary research group at the intersection of the Center for Scientific and High-Performance Computing (CSHPC) and the Compiler Design Lab, where he will focus on parallel programming languages, compiler techniques, and HPC performance optimization.

Valentin Churavy joined our group in August 2024. Before, he was a PhD student at MIT.
