Arpit Babbar awarded Humboldt Research Fellowship
Arpit Babbar has been awarded a prestigious Humboldt Research Fellowship for postdocs by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. He will work on “Discontinuous Galerkin methods for atmospheric flows” with us in Mainz for two additional years. Arpit will work on topics such as the development of efficient and robust numerical methods for atmospheric transport problems, focusing on aspects like admissibility- and structure-preserving schemes as well as optimized time integration methods.
Arpit has joined our group in August 2024. Before, he was a PhD student of Praveen Chandrashekar at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research - Centre for Applicable Mathematics.
